March Madness Tournament rules
I appreciate all you guys support and truly tried to accommodate everyone the best I could. I look forward to a great weekend of high level competition. Please go check the schedule and confirm game times as well as venue location. Coaches packets will be available at the gym you play your 1st game and will be given to head coaches only. Packets consist of 3 bands (2 coaches and 1 score keeper) please make sure your score keepers put your team name and accurate score on score sheet as these score sheets will be used to update the scores/standings on exposure app.

IF YOU LOSE YOUR BANDS THEY WILL NOT BE REPLACED. Make sure your score keeper knows they are responsible for stat book or shot clock for ALL of the team games, we will not refund a parent from your team their admission because your listed score keeper was unreliable, we will direct your parent to listed scorekeeper to receive refund. Choose your score keeper wisely.
Tournament Rules (Grade Base)
*The first team listed on the schedule is the home team and will wear a light colored jersey*
Each team must provide one responsible person for scorekeeping/shot clock
Home Team gets the book
Away team gets the shot clock
3 min Warm up for each team
14 Mins halfs stop clock
5 mins after game time results in forfeit (4 players required to begin a game ) NO

7 Team fouls - 1 & 1
10 Team fouls - Double bonus
1st grade - 6th Grade will use 28.5 size ball
7-8th grade will use 29.5 size ball
Running clock if a team is up by more than 20 points the clock will not stop again
until the score is under 15 points. If a team is up by 20 in the last 2 minutes the
game will be called!
Full court pressure is allowed the entire game unless a team is up by 25 points
4 time outs total a game, 2 fulls and 2 30’s (Time outs carry over to the 2nd half).
1-full timeout only for overtime (time outs do not carry over to overtime)
-Overtime is 3 minutes of play. Each overtime will begin with a jump ball. After the 2ND overtime teams will go into sudden death (scoring 2 points in any manner) will apply. The clock will not stop during overtime.
Each team is allowed two coaches and one score keeper for free admission
Any coach or player that is assessed two technicals will not be allowed to participate in the following game of play (must sit out the game that technicals were received as well as next scheduled game).

The Tournament Director reserves the right to remove any team from the tournament without refund for unsportsmanlike conduct by parents and/or coaches. Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated at all!!!!
A PLAYER CAN ONLY PLAY FOR ONE AAU TEAM PER GRADE DIVISION. IF A PLAYER WISHES TO PLAY FOR ANOTHER TEAM, IT MUST BE IN A GRADE HIGHER THAN THEIR CURRENT ONE.
-Challenge fee $300

• Each team should be able to provide proof of age/grade. This is a grade base tournament; you are only allowed to play up no playing down!
Teams are allowed to protest player age/grade for $300 fee. Players must turn the next age after September 1st in order to play (PROTEST MUST BE DONE BEFORE THE GAME STARTS). If protest is successful money shall be returned and opposing team will forfeit game. Loss of protest will result in loss of $300 protest fee.
$300 to challenge/protest a kid eligibility!! If successful $300 will be returned and ineligible team will be removed. DOCUMENTS NEEDED WHEN CHALLENGED
Birth certificate AND report card
-No fighting or play fighting at all!
-No yelling or cussing at other people’s children, officials (refs ), and T3TV Staff
• Coaches and players only on the court and bench
( If you don’t have a coaches wrist band please stay in the stands or you will be asked to leave)
-Teams must arrive at least 30 mins prior to your scheduled game time. If a game ends early we reserve the right to start the next game on schedule. Arriving 5 mins after your scheduled game time will result in forfeit. AGAIN TEAMS MUST ARRIVE 30 MINS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED GAME TIME. Being late to a game will result in a forfeit.
